FRUTILLAR, CHILE (January 25, 2025) — Lemu, Latin America’s leading Nature Tech company, today announced the launch of Atlas, the first Nature Intelligence platform designed to make nature visible in every decision. Atlas transforms complex environmental data into clear, actionable insights, enabling companies, governments, and financial institutions to integrate biodiversity and ecosystem services directly into their strategies and operations.

Key Highlights

  • Atlas transforms ecological science and satellite data into actionable insights for businesses, governments, and finance.
  • Preloaded with biodiversity and ecosystem indicators, built on Lemu’s 4D Spacetime data schema.
  • Enables compliance with global frameworks (TNFD, SBTN, GBF) while reducing risk and funding conservation.

Atlas provides a turnkey solution for organisations facing growing pressure to account for nature in their value chains and financial reporting. Preloaded with biodiversity and ecosystem indicators, and built on Lemu’s 4D data schema Spacetime, Atlas enables seamless access, analysis, and sharing of environmental intelligence with scientific accuracy and business-ready usability.

“Atlas is a new category of intelligence platform,” said Leo Prieto, Founder and CEO of Lemu. “Every business depends on nature, but less than one percent measure that dependence today. Atlas makes nature visible and measurable — not as an add-on, but as a core part of decision-making. It bridges the Nature Data Gap so organisations can reduce costs, manage risks, and fund conservation.”

The launch of Atlas builds on Lemu’s pioneering work combining ecological science, satellite data — including from its biodiversity-focused nanosatellite Lemu Nge — and advanced AI through its Gaia suite. Early users include multinational companies, public agencies, and financial institutions integrating nature into impact assessments, infrastructure planning, climate transition strategies, and regulatory compliance.

Atlas provides insights aligned with leading frameworks such as the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), the Science Based Targets for Nature (SBTN), and the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), ensuring interoperability with global standards.

“Closing the Nature Data Gap is critical for both conservation and economic resilience,” said Sebastián Eyzaguirre, Co-founder and COO at Lemu. “Atlas is built to translate scientific rigor into practical tools. By integrating nature indicators like LemuRank and CarbonFlux, we give decision-makers the clarity to act — and measure ROI.”

Atlas is available immediately to enterprise and institutional partners worldwide. With this launch, Lemu advances its mission to make nature visible in every decision and to help fund the protection of 1% of Earth’s land surface by 2033.
